It was in early 1940's when Late Mr. Ramnarayan Zagdu Singh and
Late Mr. Shyamnarayan Zagdu Singh hailing from a small village from
Uttar Pradesh came to Mumbai in search of livelihood. They settled in Kandivali
(E). Hailing from an agricultural background, the two brothers soon undertook
agricultural activities. Shri Thakur Ramesh Singh son of Late Shri Ramnarayan
Singh started Transport, Construction & Development business in 1982 and due to
encouragement & inspiration from his family he stepped in to the field of Social
work. His family was very much inspired by Indian National Congress party and
thus he got opportunity to serve the social & needy group.

contested Municipal Election in 1992 and got elected with thumping majority.
With his social work he was quiet famous in the Kandivli East Ward No.
158 which was biggest ward (areawise) which consisted
of Poisar, Thakur Complex and newly developed Lokhandwala Township, Hanuman
Nagar, Vadar pada, Shriram Nagar, Narsi Pada, Janu Pada, Keli pada, Singh
Estate, Damu Nagar, Lahugad. This victory created a remarkable history
in entire suburbs.
